💥 Boom! 💥For the first time since 2018, and only the 4th time in the last 25 years, the Rams take down Webster! Down 1-0 at half, Ladue played with purpose to score twice in the game's final 25 minutes! Balkis Prothro provided the offense with both goals. The first one came off a great build up. It ended with Rie Williams tapping a pass to Balkis who beat the keeper from about 20 yards out. Then Charlotte Wilson helped set up the second goal by earning a foul in the box. Balkis stepped up and blasted in the pk to secure the win!
The win moves Ladue, the #3 team in the state, to 6-2. They are now 2-0 in conference.

In the Varsity game, the girls started slow in the first half. Thankfully, goalie Avery Warwick bailed the team out with a pk save in the first half! It was her 3rd pk save in the past 2 games!

In the second half, the Rams really picked up the intensity, generating a lot of chances. Finally with 8 minutes remaining, they found the back of the net when Peyton O'Shaughnessy one time finished a perfect cross from Ayrissa Robinson. The defense was solid throughout to get the shutout victory!

Down 1-0 at half, the girls made some adjustments and played better but were down 2-0 until Balkis Prothro knocked home a corner kick to cut the lead to 2-1 with 12 minutes remaining.
St. Joe earned a penalty kick to try to ice the game but goalie Avery Warwick stopped the pk! Charlotte Wilson, Mijara Robinson, Fauziya Prothro and Brooke Kolker played tremendous throughout the match and goalie Avery Warwick made huge timely saves to preserve the clean sheet!

I've been doing this for a long time and I've never experienced a game like tonight! In a game that resembled an indoor game at vetta with back and forth scoring, the Rams came up just short against class 4 state runner up, Eureka.
Eureka scored first. Then the Rams answered when Amerie Williams received a pass from Aryssa Robinson to tie it up.
Eureka scored again to make it 2-1 at halftime.
After half, Eureka scored again but Ladue answered right back on a free kick that Peyton O'Shaughnessy rang off the cross bar to Balkis Prothro who chested it to Madison Stockwell for the goal.
Eureka came down and scored 2 more times making it 2-5, but the Rams wouldn't quit. Si'Niyah Walker hustled after a loose ball in the box and hit a left foot rocket to make it 3-5.
Eureka looked to put the game away with 12 minutes left, with their 6th goal. However, Ladue refused to go quietly into the night.
