Another epic alumni vs current player game in the books! The current players took a 4-1 lead into halftime, but the alumni came storming back in the second half. Down 5-4 late, the alumni tied it and forced ot. In ot, current player @sam_steinberg hit a laser to win iteffed!

Many spectators commented that it was the highest quality game they've ever seen. They also marveled at how good the game was reffed! 🤣

So great seeing all the lads come back and play!

💥 Boom! 💥 The girls fought through some self inflicted adversity and came away with a hard fought win against a tough defending Parkway Central team. The Central goalie shined throughout the game, making many huge saves but the Rams were able to sneak a goal past her backup when she was out injured for about 5 minutes. It was a beautiful headball by Madison Stockwell on a corner from Marisa Schreiner!

Besides that, the defense was on point throughout the match. Brooke Kolker helped anchor a strong backline and Josie Patterson stepped into emergency goalie duty for the first 10 minutes of the game and played admirably.

The win propels Ladue to the district Championship and for the second year in a row, the Rams will play Burroughs for the title! Clear your schedule to come watch on Tuesday!

In overtime, Ayrissa Robinson hit a shot from 20 yards out bar down to win the game! However the game doesn't get to overtime without the play of both Brooke Kolker and Nephthys Prothro on the back line!

After a scoreless 1st half, the Rams broke through in the second half off a Charlotte Wilson free kick. The shot went off the goalie to Balkis Prothro who knocked in the rebound. The defense was suffocating throughout giving up very few chances to the Greyhounds.

It ended with Rie Williams tapping a pass to Balkis who beat the keeper from about 20 yards out. Then Charlotte Wilson helped set up the second goal by earning a foul in the box. Balkis stepped up and blasted in the pk to secure the win!
The win moves Ladue, the #3 team in the state, to 6-2. They are now 2-0 in conference.

Varsity battled but came up short in the 2nd pool play game of the Champions League today. The girls lost 2-1 to St. Joe's. Down 1-0 at half, the girls made some adjustments and played better but were down 2-0 until Balkis Prothro knocked home a corner kick to cut the lead to 2-1 with 12 minutes remaining.
St. Joe earned a penalty kick to try to ice the game but goalie Avery Warwick stopped the pk! The ref, however said her feet weren't on the goal line and gave St. Joe the opportunity to retake the pk. Avery didn't care though. She stopped the second attempt too! The Rams made a final push to tie the game but couldn't find the second goal.
Ladue plays their final game in pool play next Saturday and still has a chance to get out of the pool on top!

Charlotte Wilson, Mijara Robinson, Fauziya Prothro and Brooke Kolker played tremendous throughout the match and goalie Avery Warwick made huge timely saves to preserve the clean sheet!
